DAIMON Denjirou, code name Searcher, is a veteran Jet Eye affiliated with the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare’s Specialized Forces Division (SFD). He has the ability to detect other Third Eyes from an extremely long range.
Background[]
DD became a Third Eye host in the September of 2019 and gained the ability to detect other Third Eyes from an extremely long range. He joined the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare’s Specialized Forces Division (SFD) soon afterwards as one of its first four members, with the other three being Ikoma Sanae, Azu Yumiko, and Isa Riri.
Appearance[]
DD has close-cropped black hair that looks somewhat like a buzzcut and is usually seen wearing a baseball cap and a camo jacket. His eyes have been noted to be heavily-lidded, giving him a somewhat sleepy look.
Personality[]
DD is usually rather calm and friendly, displaying amicability when he and Yumiko first encountered Minoru, whom they had thought was a Ruby Eye. He prides himself greatly on his rather subpar cooking skills.
Third Eye[]
Abilities[]
DD’s third eye grants them the ability to sense other third eyes from a humongous distance, giving him the code name of “Searcher”. In fact, he can even detect third eyes when their abilities are not activated — a power that no other has been shown to possess.
Although the ability sounds rather lackluster, it is extremely powerful when put to practical use in the field. His extremely long-ranged detection effectively destroys the possibility of an enemy ambush as well as allowing fellow SFD members to track and pursue Ruby Eyes. His role in the SFD is absolutely indispensable, and without him, the organization would find far less success.
Detection Radius[]
DD’s Third Eye ability, which involves no atomic manipulation, has a detection radius so small that it is negligible.[1]
